Every market we look to Joni and assistant buyer, Caroline to fill us in on everything we can expect to see in the upcoming seasons. As a staff we rounded up some some of the questions we ask and thought it would be a great idea to share with you!
WHAT BRANDS LOOKED STRONG?
Ganni, Alemais, Tibi, TWP and a new brand, Muma. Ganni felt fresh, had wearable pieces across all categories and wearable pieces for all ages. Alemais had great updates to their classics and as always, beautiful artful prints. We are even going to test out some of their accessories!
WHAT ARE THE BIGGEST TRENDS YOU ARE SEEING FOR SPRING AND SUMMER 2025?
White poplin skirts paired back to anything, a lot of bubble and parachute hems, sheer effects, and leopard continued!
WHAT ARE THE CORE COLORS FOR SPRING/SUMMER '25?
Red continued! Burgundy and butter yellow are continuing into spring and summer, copper, light brown, cornflower.
HOW MANY BRANDS DO YOU TYPICALLY SEE IN A DAY?
Anywhere from 15-20 brands in a day! We definitely get our steps in ;)
ANY PRINTS THAT STOOD OUT TO YOU?
Yes! A new brand we are bringing in called, Muma, had fresh, fun, modern vacation prints.
WILL WE STILL BE SEEING LEOPARD AND ANIMAL PRINTS?
Leopard is still very prominent for spring/summer
HOW DO YOU KEEP EVERYTHING STRAIGHT?
We take pictures of everything. Once we get back to the office we lay out all the, dissect apart so only the best styles remain!
WHAT TRENDS WERE YOU SEEING ON THE STREET?
White skirts everywhere, paired back to everything. We saw more simplified dressing with bold accessories. Great belts, cool shoes.
ANY GOOD EATS WHILE YOU WERE THERE?
We make sure to hit up Tacombi every market to get their tostadas! This trip we tried Pasquale Jones for some great italian.
